According to the website, "managing classroom information" fell into the "other" category. Hopefully, since this poll was compiled back in March, 2008, classroom use has expanded. In teaching practice, wikis can be used as collaborative spaces for student group assignments, teacher sharing spaces, class or school posting areas, student portfolios, etc.
I agree with what you have to say and found your graph very useful. It was interesting to see how wiki's are being used. The use of wiki's in education is limitless. I think fears about them are beginning to lessen and hopefully they will be seen as credible information sites.
